The University at Buffalo’s Region 2 TACE Center on Rehabilitation Synergy is a training program dedicated for current and future business professionals in the workforce. Our project is to create a database which would eliminate the errors and inconsistencies derived from the organization's paper-based structure.
Through our database, we will be able to connect trainee and employee information with their prospective schedules. In addition, we will be able to ensure each trainee and employee to obtain a parking pass when necessary without overlapping or loss of information. As part of the training program, each trainee is offered the option of receiving three meals daily. Our database would record the amount of meals needed, preventing over- and under-ordering of meals as well as keep track of any dietary restrictions. Lastly, upon completion of the training, each trainee is required to fill out an evaluation and we will implement this through the use of emailing.
